Meet Katherine Connor Martin, former Head of US Dictionaries (now Head of Product for Oxford Languages), and part of the team tasked with ensuring that the Oxford English Dictionary keeps up with changes in American English and accurately reflects the way English is being used across the pond.

In this video, the first of our Meet the Editors series, Katherine shares some of the developments in American English happening right now that have caught her eye and ponders the age-old question of lexical invention and reinvention.
